What hinders our prayers to be answered?

Illustration From Pixabay                 Read also in Miss Day Spring By Mariz Peñaflor In  Leviticus chapter 5 , itwas stated seven times that if we committed a sin “unintentionally”, we are still responsible, and upon realizing our wrong, we must repent for it. Also in  Number 15: 22- 30 , this same idea was repeated seven times. However in  verse 30-31 , the Lord stated, “30 “‘But anyone who sins defiantly, whether native-born or foreigner, blasphemes the Lord and must be cut off from the people of Israel. 31 Because they have despised the Lord’s word and broken his commands, they must surely be cut off; their guilt remains on them.’”” - It only means that, once we know that it is a sin, and yet we still did it intentionally, then we are despising God. This will bring God’s anger upon us and will drive us away from God’s presence. This is the reason why our prayers don’t reach God, because our sins drive us away from God’s presence. It’s not that God can’t hear our words, but God i

A Life of Faith and Purpose

(Original Story from My Christian Identity. Blog Post from March 26, 2020.)

Hi Friends,

I know we are in a time of uncertainty, but I want to share to you that in spite of this uncertainty, the only thing that is certain and true is the Lord and walking a life in Partnership with the Lord is the only way for all of us to live a life of certainty. He is the same yesterday, today and forever.

To tell you the truth, the word of God never promised peace in this temporal world, but as Philippians 4:6-7 says “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Meaning only when we pray and connect to God and walk with God will we find peace, but this peace is something that you cannot see. It is a peace of heart of someone that has God and live his or her life for God.

Let me share to you the key message in the morning devotion of church family (via livestream) today:

Ephesians 2:10
We are God's workmanship created in Christ Jesus to perform good works which God create in advanced for us to do.
Isaiah 43:21
The people I formed for myself that they may proclaim my praise.
~~
God created us for a purpose and that is to walk with God and in the will of God that we may proclaim the glory of God through us.
Life is short and death is a natural thing, so to die is not a question in fact. The question is will you die in vain?
Dear friends, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and walk with God and He will give your life meaning. Kung mamamatay ka na lamang, mamatay ka ng may kahulugan =)
Faith is like this, walk by faith and not by sight. It is the assurance of things we hope for and believing of things unseen (Hebrew 11:1)
Ang kagandahan sa isang tao na may matibay na relasyon sa Panginoon ay sa buhay man o kamatayan alam mo at sigurado ka na kasama mo ang Panginoon at magkaroon man ng hangganan ang buhay na ito sa lupa, may mas magandang buhay na naghihintay saýo - which is life that is eternal.
How to live a life of faith?
1. See your position or the position of your life right now.
Ano ba ang kalagayan ng buhay mo sa panahon ngayon?
2. Find out your purpose.
Bakit kaba nabubuhay?
3. Wake up from the now.
Ito ang realidad ng buhay natin. Kahirapan sa paligid. kagutuman, sakit. Pero ito ay natural na mangyayari at nakasaad sa Salita ng ating Panginoon. So what you need to do?
Men's knowledge is finite but God's knowledge is infinite. To the things that we cannot control as humans, God is in control.
But God's protection will only take effect once you surrender your life fully to the Lord. Hindi siya applicable sa lahat.
John 3:16
For God so love the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life.
Yes, God so love the world, people say it is unconditional for God gives equal chances to all, but the whosoever there serves as the condition. What is the condition of your heart towards God? When no one follows, are you still willing to honor God? When God wants you to give up things that you are doing right now that is not fitted to God, will you obey God?
If you qualify to these conditions, that is only when the love of God will take effect.
4. Enter the life of nobody.
Ang paglakad kasama ang Panginoon, hindi sa lahat ng pagkakataon may kasama ka. But as you walk with God, even though you are alone, you know to yourself that you have peace inside ( a peace of heart) in the midst of crisis, in the midst of chaos, in the midst of problems and poverty.
5. Enter the Supernatural.
Hebrews 11 New International Version (NIV)
Faith in Action
11 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. 2 This is what the ancients were commended for.
3 By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.
4 By faith Abel brought God a better offering than Cain did. By faith he was commended as righteous, when God spoke well of his offerings. And by faith Abel still speaks, even though he is dead.
5 By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death: “He could not be found, because God had taken him away.”[a] For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God. 6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
7 By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is in keeping with faith.
8 By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going. 9 By faith he made his home in the promised land like a stranger in a foreign country; he lived in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs with him of the same promise. 10 For he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God. 11 And by faith even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because she[b] considered him faithful who had made the promise. 12 And so from this one man, and he as good as dead, came descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as countless as the sand on the seashore.
13 All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance, admitting that they were foreigners and strangers on earth. 14 People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own. 15 If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return. 16 Instead, they were longing for a better country—a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them.
17 By faith Abraham, when God tested him, offered Isaac as a sacrifice. He who had embraced the promises was about to sacrifice his one and only son, 18 even though God had said to him, “It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.”[c] 19 Abraham reasoned that God could even raise the dead, and so in a manner of speaking he did receive Isaac back from death.
20 By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau in regard to their future.
21 By faith Jacob, when he was dying, blessed each of Joseph’s sons, and worshiped as he leaned on the top of his staff.
22 By faith Joseph, when his end was near, spoke about the exodus of the Israelites from Egypt and gave instructions concerning the burial of his bones.
23 By faith Moses’ parents hid him for three months after he was born, because they saw he was no ordinary child, and they were not afraid of the king’s edict.
24 By faith Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be known as the son of Pharaoh’s daughter. 25 He chose to be mistreated along with the people of God rather than to enjoy the fleeting pleasures of sin. 26 He regarded disgrace for the sake of Christ as of greater value than the treasures of Egypt, because he was looking ahead to his reward. 27 By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger; he persevered because he saw him who is invisible. 28 By faith he kept the Passover and the application of blood, so that the destroyer of the firstborn would not touch the firstborn of Israel.
29 By faith the people passed through the Red Sea as on dry land; but when the Egyptians tried to do so, they were drowned.
30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell, after the army had marched around them for seven days.
31 By faith the prostitute Rahab, because she welcomed the spies, was not killed with those who were disobedient.[d]
32 And what more shall I say? I do not have time to tell about Gideon, Barak, Samson and Jephthah, about David and Samuel and the prophets, 33 who through faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was promised; who shut the mouths of lions, 34 quenched the fury of the flames, and escaped the edge of the sword; whose weakness was turned to strength; and who became powerful in battle and routed foreign armies. 35 Women received back their dead, raised to life again. There were others who were tortured, refusing to be released so that they might gain an even better resurrection. 36 Some faced jeers and flogging, and even chains and imprisonment. 37 They were put to death by stoning;[e] they were sawed in two; they were killed by the sword. They went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, persecuted and mistreated— 38 the world was not worthy of them. They wandered in deserts and mountains, living in caves and in holes in the ground.
39 These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised, 40 since God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect.

To all people out there all over the world,

All of us never saw this coming. We aren't prepared enough. But I won't dare say that every Government's effort across the globe is not enough. In fact, they are doing everything they can, together with the health workers and military, they were and are still and will be fighting in the front lines together. I believe that this is not just the sole effort of the authorities but in partnership with us civilians. As a contribution to the front liners, amid COVID-19 pandemic scare, what we can do at hand, personally,  is to practice personal discipline to stay at home and stay healthy.

I also understood that this is between life and death and we don't know what comes next ahead of us. Every hearts and stomachs grows weary all over the planet. There are many sacrifices and heartaches and hunger and deaths. All of us, most especially those people who are face-to-face combatting this crisis, can only shed tears silently while missing home and their love ones, then stand up again to get back to work. While others can't even shed a single tear because they have no time as they lost count of patients and people who badly needs immediate help and cares keep on coming.

Dear people, I understood that we are all scared and in dilemma of thinking how to survive. Sometimes, the thought of thinking also gives us a headache as we run out of ways. However, in spite of all of this, I want you to know that life here could not really be perfect. What I want to say is, in this world, even without coronavirus, these things are real and we are all facing them every day. They are normal things that we tend to overlooked and not to focus on because we are living busy, busy lives. Now, that most of us are idle because we are all advised to stay at home, we finally shift our minds to notice what is really happening every day and this is the reality of our lives. Now, I understood that the moment we stop on doing other things, that is the time that we start noticing the Truth. What is that truth? That we are humans and life here is just temporary. With that being said, I want to say also that the peace that we long here are also temporary and not real. It is only through God that we can ask for protection and peace of heart and mind. No one can give that to you. Not the Government. Not your Company. Not your family. Only God. Living for God should not be a choice in the very beginning, but because of sin, we are separated from the presence of God, and generations to generations were conceived to sin, so no one stands righteous before God (Romans 3:32 , 6:23)- that righteousness though is the only criteria to qualify to God's Kingdom, the righteousness that can be only found in Jesus Christ. Thus so, because of sin, living for God now became a choice, that only if we made that very decision to surrender our life back to God again and surrender things that we can control, in exchange to God's control over our lives (Divine exchange), that we can now finally be liberated from sin and live a life of peace in God. (Romans 8:32-36, John 3:16, John 10:10, Matthew 11:28-30).  God bless everyone!  😇

“This is how we know what true love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. (1 John 3:16) Laying our lives means sharing the very life of Christ. It is not only about preaching the word or quoting the scriptures, but becoming the living Word ourselves- the word who became flesh (John 1:14) like Jesus did. We could do that by doing little things into people surrounding our circle or getting involve for a higher cause. What are you willing to do to love God and other people?
